Sometimes, it may be necessary to view your site, before it's live, but using the actual live domain. In a situation like this, where a temporary url will not work, we recommend making a change to your host file.
modify c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts - right click - open with - notepad.
Type in the IP of the website that is not live yet, - and the URL you are wishing to point to it. Create a second line for "www."
save and restart your browser.
OR install the Firefox addon "Change Hosts" and create a new definition with the same info
